The Obion County Public Library and the Obion County Extension Agency’s 4-H Club will be holding Craft Day for Kids at the library, located at 1221 East Reelfoot Ave. in Union City, March 3 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. The event will be for children in grades kindergarten-6 and there will be a $2 supply fee, which is due by March 2.
The workshop is limited to 24 children. For more information, call the library at 885-7000.
On March 6 the library will be hosting an Easter Gingerbread House workshop, which will be taught by Jane Hale. This class is for grandmothers and a grandchild to attend, but another special relative is welcome to come in place of a grandmother.
There is a $3 supply fee for the pair. The class will be held in the meeting rooms of the library at 10 a.m. and is limited to 15 pairs. Preregistration by March 4 is strongly encouraged, a spokesman said. For more information, call Melanie Mitchell at the library at 885-7000.
