Art exhibition planned

The University of Tennessee at Martin Department of Visual and Theatre Arts will present a VTA Annual Student Art Exhibition, beginning with an opening reception 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in the gallery of the Fine Arts Building on the UT Martin campus.
The exhibition will run through April 28.
The exhibition features the works of visual arts students from throughout the 2007-08 school year.
Students submit artwork in several categories for review by the visual arts faculty for inclusion in the department’s end-of-the-year exhibit.
Cash awards are given for Best of Show and first-, second- and third-place in each category.
