To celebrate special day
Bells Chapel C.M.E. Church, located at 207 North Highland Drive in Fulton, will celebrate Family and Friends Day Sunday at 3 p.m.
Special guest speaker will be Elder Margaret Pettigrew from United Church of the Living God in Fulton.
The Rev. Eric McKinney and the congregation invite the community to celebrate with them.

Children to sing
The Children’s Choirs of Calvary Baptist Church, located at 2250 East Reelfoot Ave. in Union City, will present the musical “Esther — Ordinary Faith” Sunday at 10:30 a.m. The musical, under the direction of Kathleen Parker, is about the story of Esther and her extraordinary faith in the face of difficult circumstances. Everyone is cordially invited to attend, according to the pastor, the Rev. Melvin Poe.

Decoration Day set
The annual Cayce (Ky.) United Methodist Church Homecoming and Decoration Day will be May 4, with morning worship at 11, followed by a potluck lunch at 12:45 p.m.
The meat will be furnished by the church, a spokesman said, adding that donations to the Cayce Cemetery Fund are always appreciated.

Crosswind concert set
Gospel music fans can circle June 29 on their calendars. On that date, Nashville’s own male gospel group, Ernie Couch & Revival, will be in concert at Crosswind Church in Union City.
“Ernie Couch & Revival exemplifies what good gospel music is all about,” a spokesman said. “This live band performs their music in a unique blend of styles to ensure everyone present enjoys the concert. EC&R is well known across the United States and Canada for its high-energy brand of live music. Many describe the group as refreshingly different and a lot of fun.”
Group member Jason Couch says, “We want folks to leave our concerts feeling better than when they arrived. We hope that they have not only been entertained, but that they go home in a better frame of mind and more focused on the One that makes life worth living.”
EC&R has traveled the road for more than a decade and presents a professional evening of music. The group strives to bring quality to their work worthy of the One they sing about. EC&R has recorded numerous projects of their own, as well as recording with such greats as Jake Hess, George Jones, James Blackwood, Boots Randolph, George Beverly Shea, Petra and others.
Visit the group’s Web site at www.erniecouchandrevival.com to learn even more about this group.
“If you are a fan of concerts or looking for an enjoyable event to attend, don’t miss seeing Ernie Couch & Revival in concert June 29 at 10:25 a.m. at Crosswind Church in Union City,” said the pastor, the Rev. Andy Blackwell. Call 446-7989 for more information.

Anniversary celebration set
Bashan Baptist Church in Rives will observe its 108th anniversary Sunday. Paul Jenkins will be the speaker at 11 a.m. and the Rev. Jessie Johnson will fill the pulpit at 3 p.m. He will be joined by his congregation from Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Fulton.
A meal will be served when guests arrive, a spokesman said.
The Rev. Rozell Dotstry is pastor.

Kenneth Tosky will lead in praise and worship.
A fellowship meal will follow Sunday morning worship and all are invited to attend.

All proceeds will go to the International Church of God Women’s Missions Project in Zambia in Africa.
