Wildcats set to preview 2008 football team at Spring Game
Wildcats set to preview 2008 football team at Spring Game | Bethel College, Bethel Wildcats, Dino Kaklis, McKenzie, Tennessee

Dino Kaklis
The Bethel Wildcats will take to the gridiron for their annual Spring Game at 2 p.m. on Saturday. The event wraps up spring practices and Bethel encourages all family, friends and fans to attend.
The defending 2007 Mid-South Conference champions finished the campaign setting a new record in wins by going 11-2. They also finished with the highest ranking in school history, peaking at No. 4, and with the highest ranking of any collegiate program in the state of Tennessee in 2007 finishing fifth in the final poll. Last season also marked the second year in a row that the Wildcats qualified for the NAIA playoffs and won their first game.
“We have many returning players with valuable playoff experience,” said BC head coach Dino Kaklis. “The players that have been here know where the bar has been set and how hard it is to get there. They are looking to raise the bar even further this next season. With our returning players and the talented recruiting class that the coaching staff has assembled coming in, we should be on track to meet our goals.”
Although the out of conference schedule is not finalized, the Wildcats will open Mid-South Conference play at home on Sept. 20 against the University of the Cumberlands.
