The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for its schools for the week of April 28-May 2:
Union City High School
Monday, April 28 — Baked chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, roll, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, April 29 — Beef steak with gravy, buttered potatoes, black-eyed peas, Texas toast, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, April 30 — Mexican Chicken Casserole, steamed broccoli with cheese sauce, fried okra, crackers, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, May 1 — Chicken patty with bun, corn, Great Northern beans, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, May 2 — Cheeseburger with bun, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Note: Union City High School offers fiesta bar, reduced-fat pizza bar and fresh salad bar options daily.

Union City Middle School

Wednesday, April 30 — Oriental pork with rice or noodles, steamed broccoli with cheese sauce, fried okra, crackers, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.

Wednesday, April 30 — Beef taco with shell or tuna salad sandwich with whole-grain bread, taco salad cup, fried okra, crackers, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
