SF STUDENT RECOGNIZED — Kady Elliot (right) of South Fulton received the Women in Communications Presidential Award and Women in Communications Continuing Member Award, presented by instructor of communications Teresa Collard, during the University of Tennessee at Martin Department of Communications’ recent annual Communications Career Day. The event honored the academic and extracurricular accomplishments of communications students. The day included a banquet, keynote speaker, awards presentations and a career fair. The keynote speaker for the banquet was Kent Landers, director of external communications for Delta Air Lines in Atlanta and a 1998 communications graduate of UT Martin.
