GROWING TOGETHER — Members of Boy Scout Pack 252 planted a Tulip Poplar tree — which is the state tree — Tuesday at Union City Elementary School in celebration of Earth Day. Robin Last said she is currently involved with the State of Tennessee’s Department of Health’s Go-Green campaign, which inspired her to plant a tree with her son, Kiran Last, who chose the tree for the scouts’ tree-planting activity.
