Funds will be raised for Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope at the Wal-Mart Block Party today from 6-10 p.m. on the Union City Wal-Mart parking lot on West Reelfoot Avenue.

A yard sale and bake sale will be staged at Union City Wal-Mart parking lot on West Reelfoot Avenue Saturday from 7 a.m.-noon. Early birds cannot be accommodated, a spokesman said.

Team Taylor will be selling Boston butts in time for Mother’s Day for $25. Orders must be pre-paid by May 2. Call 536-4580 for more information. The pickup date and location will be May 10 at Troy Church of Christ. Funds raised will go to Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope.
