CHOW TIME — Carolyn Milner of Bardwell, Ky., says some feathered friends at Reelfoot Lake State Park campground will almost, but not quite, eat out of her hands. Several mallard ducks stopped by her campsite about 11 a.m. Thursday for a snack of bread crumbs. “They aren’t exactly tame, but they waddle in and out and make themselves at home,” she said. Mrs. Milner and her husband, Bob, were among a host of visitors at the state park over the Memorial Day weekend. They’ve been visiting Reelfoot Lake since 1972 and generally stay a week or two. Manager Jim Cox reports all 86 campsites were occupied over the holiday weekend. “In fact, we had a few sites that doubled up. So we were a little beyond full over the weekend,” he said.
