U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander will be the keynote speaker when the University of Memphis’ Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law Alumni Chapter honors four of the legal community’s “Pillars of Excellence.”
The Law Alumni Dinner will be held Aug. 16 at the University Holiday Inn at 3700 Central Ave. in Memphis. A reception will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the dinner and program at 7.
The honorees will include Walter Bailey, an attorney and former Shelby County commissioner; W. John Stokes, vice chairman of Morgan Keegan & Company, will be honored as a Friend of the Law School.
Seats are $75 per person, $600 for a table of eight and $35 for members of the Class of 2008.
