OC nursing home plans events

Obion County Nursing Home has announced the following activities for Aug. 11-17 at the nursing home. Monday: A coffee break and devotional will be held at 9:30 a.m. A pizza party will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. Sanders Chapel United Methodist Church will visit at 10:30. At 1:30 p.m., a resident council meeting will be held. The residents will go for a ride at 2. Wednesday: A coffee break and card games will be enjoyed at 9:30 a.m. Bingo, with Second Baptist Church, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday: The beauty shop will be open at 8 a.m. Senior Day at the Fair will be at 9 and manicures will be given at 2:30 p.m. Friday: A coffee break and Wii-Golf will be held at 9:30 a.m. Bingo will be played at 2 p.m. Saturday: First Assembly of God will visit at 10 a.m. A Saturday matinee, with Cokeā„¢ and chips, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday: At 10 a.m., Troy First Baptist Church will visit. Tea time will be held at 2 p.m. Exchange Street Church of Christ in Union City will visit at 3:30. Published in The Messenger 8.6.08
