The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Magan Michelle Jackson of Woodland Mills and Charles Ray Walker of Hickman, Ky., is being announced today. The bride-elect is the daughter of James and Elva Wilbanks of Woodland Mills and DeWayne and Robin Jackson of Woodland Mills. She is the granddaughter of Jerry and Dimple Dennison of Minnick, the late Bernie Stover of Minnick, Ann Jackson of the Crystal community and the late Billy Jackson of Union City. She graduated from Obion County Central High School in 2003. She is attending Jackson State Community College, where she is majoring in nursing and is a member of the Student Nursing Association. She is employed at Hibbett’s Sports in Union City. The groom-elect is the son of the late Sara Walker of Hickman. He is the grandson of Gaylon and Margaret Morris and the late James Walker, all of Hickman. He graduated from Fulton County (Ky.) High School in 2005 and attened Paducah (Ky.) Technical College. He is employed by Southern Concrete Products in Union City. A private wedding ceremony will be held 5:30 p.m. Oct. 20 at Midway Missionary Baptist Church in Hickman. All friends and family are invited to attend a reception following the wedding at the Hickman Country Club at 7 p.m. The couple will reside in Woodland Mills. Published in The Messenger on 10.03.07 |
