| Rape case rescheduled |

| A Greenfield man accused of having sexual contact with two teenagers had his court hearing postponed last week in Weakley County General Sessions Court.
Jerry Goodson of Shades Bridge Road in Greenfield was arrested late July by the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department after an investigation revealed he allegedly had inappropriate sexual relations with two children.
An affidavit cites the incidents occurred throughout an eight-year period from 2000 until this year.
Goodson was arraigned in general sessions court July 31.
Last week’s court appearance was rescheduled until Wednesday, Aug. 20.
He faces two felony charges of rape of a child as well as two felony charges of incest.
Goodson is being held in the Weakley County Detention Center on a $250,000 bond.
