Parent Night set

Union City Elementary School will host a parent night for children in first, second and third grades Tuesday at 6 p.m. Parents of children in kindergarten, fourth and fifth grades are invited for a second Parent Night Thursday at 6 p.m.

Each evening, parents will be able to meet their children’s teachers and learn about specific plans for the school year and enjoy a health fair, plus refreshments and door prizes.

The health fair will include several stations around the school’s new walking track, where parents may find valuable health information.

All parents are urged to enjoy this time at the school and begin the school year by becoming involved in school activities and events, a spokesman said.
