SCV meeting set

Sons of Confederate Veterans will meet Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Obion County Museum on Edwards Street in Union City.

The guest speaker will be Randy Bishop from Corinth, Miss., the author of two books, “The Tennessee Brigade” and “Tennessee’s Civil War Battlefields.”

There will be a discussion of the lighting of the Trimble flag and the installation of the granite stone donated by Virginia at the site.

All members are urged to attend, a spokesman said.
