The Obion County Central High School Art Club will be offering after-school art lessons for those in kindergarten through eighth grade for the next several months. There will be a separate unit of study each month and students will be required to register for each monthly session they wish to attend.
Lessons are $10 each or $25 per month and early pre-registration is encouraged by calling 536-4688, extension 124, from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. weekdays.
Classes will be held 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the OCCHS art rooms on the following schedule:
Sept. 23 — completion of the basic drawing class;
Oct. 7, 21 and 28 – portraits;
Nov. 11, 18 and 25 – watercolor painting;
Jan. 6,13 and 27 – cartooning;
Feb. 10, 17 and 24 — pottery;
March 10, 17 and 24 — printmaking
All materials will be provided. Students are asked to enter and exit through the commons area entrance from the main parking lot.
