Players of the Week — Martin Middle School Panther football players were singled out for their individual efforts by MMS head coach Mike Stigall throughout their successful 8-1 season. Players receiving the Player of the Week designation included (from left) Chase Thweatt for his offensive work against Northeast and for his defensive effort vs. Tigrette; Kentanis Shanklin for his defensive play vs. Dresden; Hagan Ashmore for his offensive outing against Lake County; Quan Williams for his play on the defensive side of the ball vs. Northeast; Antonio Hogard for his offensive play vs. Tigrette, Dresden and Inman and in addition for his defensive work against Lake County; Mason Capps for his defensive play against Trenton; and R.J. Scott on the offensive side vs. Trenton and on the defensive side vs. Inman. |
