Nursing home plans events

Obion County Nursing Home has announced the following activities for Nov. 24-30 at the nursing home. Monday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. Balloon toss will be played at 10:30. At 1:30 p.m., a birthday party will be held. Jigsaw puzzles will be worked at 3:30. Tuesday: At 9:30 a.m., a coffee break will be held. Crossword puzzles will be offered to the residents at 10:30. At 1:30 p.m., manicures will be given. Bible study will be held at 3:30. Wednesday: The beauty shop will be open 8-11 a.m. At 1:30 p.m., bingo will be played. At 3:30, a gospel singing will be held. Thursday: Thanksgiving dinner will be served to the residents at noon. At 2 p.m., the movie “It’s A Wonderful Life” will be shown to the residents. Friday: At 9:30 a.m., a coffee break will be held. Bingo will be played at 1:30 p.m. Sudoko puzzles will be offered to the residents at 3:30. Saturday: At 10 a.m., First Assembly Church of God of Union City will visit and hold services. A Saturday matinee will be shown at 2 p.m. Board games will be played at 3:30. Sunday: At 10 a.m., Troy First Baptist Church will visit and hold services.
