Tennergy gets bid

Tennergy Corporation of Jackson has been contracted by Northwest Tennessee Regional Port Authority (NWTRPA) to perform a feasibility study for a natural gas pipeline from Troy to Cates Landing in Lake County.
NWTRPA chairman Jimmy Williamson of Dyersburg said the Executive Committee of West Tennessee Industrial Association met on Nov. 20 and voted to appropriate not more than $10,000 to fund the study.
Tennergy Corp. agreed to do the study for $9,750.
“I have contacted Tennessee and notified them to proceed with the study,” Williamson said.
