The final wedding plans for Amanda McDaniel of Union City and Wayne Bell of Troy are being announced today.
The couple will marry 6 p.m. Oct. 20 at Sunswept Baptist Church in Union City. Music will begin at 5:30 p.m.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Douglas and Faye McDaniel of Union City. She is the granddaughter of Charles and Charline Castleman and Mayo Moore, all of Union City, and the late L.D. McDaniel of Selmer.
The groom-elect is the son of Earl and Diane Bell of Troy. His grandparents are Lawrence Earl and Mary Bell of Jackson and Flavil Hayes and the late Rose Virginia Hayes of Troy.
The Rev. Terry Presson, uncle of the bride-elect and pastor of Dyersburg First United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Matron of honor will be Michelle Craig of Union City, friend of the bride-elect.
Bridesmaids will be Lauren Billingsley of Union City, Lori Bransford of Clarksville and Mia Monroe of Martin, friends of the bride-elect.
The groom-elect’s father will serve his son as best man.
Groomsmen will be Kelley Baker of Troy, brother-in-law of the groom-elect; John Bell of Jackson, uncle of the groom-elect; and Ed Robison of Martin, friend of the groom-elect.
Serving as flower girls will be McKenzie Baker of Troy, niece of the groom-elect, and Helen McDaniel and Marlee McDaniel, both of Grandforks Air Force Base, N.D., nieces of the bride-elect. Ring bearer will be Christopher Baker of Troy, nephew of the groom-elect.
Pianist will be Leah Jean Rollins of Union City.
Special readers will be Heather Baker of Troy and Tiffany Bell of Tampa, Fla., sisters of the groom-elect.
Attending the guest book will be Amber Moore of Obion, friend of the bride-elect.
Serving at the reception will be Valerie Bransford of Murray, Ky., friend of the bride-elect, and Miss Moore.
A reception will be held following the ceremony at the Hampton Centré in Union City.
Only out-of-town invitations will be sent. All friends and family are invited to attend.
