Quilters to meet

The Blessed Piecemakers Quilt Guild is inviting all quilters, collectors and lovers of quilts to the monthly meeting Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Stitchin’ Post at 514 South First St. in Union City. The program will be on Paperpiecing Pineapple Blocks and will be presented by Kay Smith and Patsy Smith. There will be a follow-up workshop Jan. 31 at The Stitchin’ Post for all who would like to participate. Members who are participating in the monthly quilt block are reminded to bring bags and quilt blocks to Thursday’s meeting to get started for the year.
“We are looking forward to a year of learning and sharing with all our quilting friends. Come join us,” a spokesman said.
All who are interested are invited to attend and visitors are always welcome, a spokesman said.
