UC council to meet

Union City’s city council will meet Tuesday in the Municipal Building courtroom. A public hearing will precede the regular business session and will begin at 5:30 p.m. Items on the agenda for that session include amending a zoning ordinance related to business-recreation districts and zoning recently annexed areas in proximity of Discovery Park of America to business-recreation.
At the regular business session, the mayor and city council will consider amending the zoning ordinance regarding permitted uses in business-recreation districts and zoning recently annexed area in proximity to DPA business recreation district. The council will also consider appointments to various boards and committees.
Public meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
The meetings are open to the public.
