Here once stood historic Central Baptist Church on University Street in downtown Martin. With the demolition of the building nearing an end, First State Bank in Martin looks to the future as they plan to relocate to the former site of Central Baptist Church. The church is now located on Skyhawk Pkwy. outside of town. After First State completes its new building project next year, Martin City Hall will relocate to the current bank location on University Street and the Martin Police Department will retain city hall as its primary headquarters. |
