Department of Children's Services investigators in Tyler, Texas working from an anonymous tip located the missing children from Weakley County earlier today.
According to Dresden Police Inv. Tod Barber, the three children reportedly abducted by their non-custodial parents earlier this month were found in a homeless shelter in Tyler, Texas.
The children were reported missing Feb. 6. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Web site noted the three children -- five-year-old Audrey Allen; seven-year-old Gavin Allen and two-year-old Bailey Allen -- were taken by their non-custodial parents who were reportedly headed to Wichita Falls, Texas or Kentucky.
Barber said the family was safe and staying in a shelter in Tyler, Texas.
Local DCS authorities plan to bring the children back to Weakley County later this week.
At this time, Barber said no charges have been filed against the parents and he didn't anticipate pressing criminal charges.
