UC council to meet

Union City’s city council will meet Tuesday in the Municipal Building courtroom at 5:30 p.m. Items on the agenda for that session include a report and recommendation on bids for the demolition of a vacant residence at 718 Glendale St., consideration of a contract with TDOT for work on the Goodyear Road and Greenfield Drive, consideration of the disposal of city-owned property formerly occupied by Tennessee Highway Patrol and an update on re-funding a bond issue.
Public meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
The meetings are open to the public.
