Delphian Review Club meets

The Delphian Review Club held its February meeting in the conference room of Union City First United Methodist Church, with 15 members present.
President Vicki Blanton called the meeting to order and Martha Clendenin gave the thought for the day.
Following the business meeting, Peggy Burnett gave a thought provoking and challenging review of Dr. Phil McGraw’s book “Real Life.” The book sets forth the idea that everyone should be preparing for “the seven days” which represent the most challenging days or stages of their lives. The key point is that everyone will face these seven days or stages. When those stages come, the person’s success or failure will largely depend on how willing he is to change his approach, if what he has been doing is not working.
Following the program, the members enjoyed a delicious cherry pie and beverages served by co-hostess Jeannine Cranford.
