Nursing home plans events for residents

Obion County Nursing Home has announced the following activities for March 8-14 at the nursing home. Sunday: At 10 a.m., Troy First Baptist Church will visit and hold services. A Sunday tea will be held at 2 p.m. and a devotional will begin at 3. Monday: At 9:30 a.m., a coffee break will be held. Jigsaw puzzles will be offered to the residents at 10. At 2 p.m., a pizza party will be held for the residents. TV oldies will be watched at 3. Tuesday: At 9:30 a.m., a coffee break will be held. Sanders Chapel United Methodist Church will hold services at 10:30. At 2 p.m., a resident council meeting will be held. A game of ring toss will be offered to the residents at 2:30. Wednesday: At 9:30 a.m., a coffee break will be held. Card games will be played with the residents at 10:30. Bingo, hosted by Union City Second Baptist Church, will be played with the residents at 2 p.m. Crossword puzzles will be offered to the residents at 3. Thursday: At 7 a.m., a country breakfast will be served. The beauty shop will be open 8-11a.m. Sudoko will be offered to the residents at 1:30 p.m. Manicures will be given to the residents from 2:30-3:45. Friday: At 9:30 a.m., a coffee break will be held. Wii-Sports will be played at 10. Bingo will be played with the residents at 2 p.m. and a Bible study will be held at 3:30. Saturday: Union City First Assembly Church will visit and hold services at 10 a.m. Refreshments will be served to the residents at 1:30 p.m. A Saturday matinee will be shown to the residents at 2:30.
