Nursing home sets schedule

The Obion County Nursing Home has announced the following activities for March 15-21 at the nursing home.

Sunday: At 10 a.m., Troy First Baptist Church will visit and hold services. A Sunday tea will be held at 2 p.m. At 3:30, Exchange Street Church of Christ will visit and hold services.

Monday: At 9:30 a.m., a coffee break will be held. Jigsaw puzzles will be offered to the residents at 10. At 2 p.m., a scrap-booking class will be held. Guidepost story time will be held at 3:30.

Tuesday: At 9:30 a.m., a coffee break will be held. Card games will be played at 10:30. At 2 p.m., a St. Patrick’s Day party will be held. Current events will be shared at 3:30.

Wednesday: At 9:30 a.m., a coffee break will be held. Bible study will be held at 10:30. At 2 p.m., a game of Bingo will be played with the residents. A game of trivia will be held at 3.

Thursday: The beauty shop will be open 8-11 a.m. At 10, gospel music will be offered to the residents. The movie “Alexander’s Ragtime Band” will be shown the residents at 1:30 p.m. At 2:30, manicures will be given to the residents.

Friday: At 9:30 a.m., a coffee break will be held. A devotional reading will be held at 10:30. At 2 p.m., a game of Bingo will be played with the residents. Wii-sports will be played with the residents at 3.

Saturday: First Assembly Church of God will visit and hold services at 10 a.m. Refreshments will be served and a Saturday matinee will be shown to the residents at 1:30 p.m. At 3:30, board games will be played.
