Near closing time on Thursday evening, two black males reportedly entered Save-A-Lot shortly before 8 p.m. One of the suspects asked an employee where the bathroom was while the other suspect grabbed a bag of chips for purchase.

The employee told officers that as he was ringing up the bag of chips, the suspect allegedly reached across the register belt and took a handful of money from the register.

The total amount of money taken was $312.

Both men left the scene on foot toward the Winstead Storage Units beside the grocery store. The first suspect is described as wearing all black with a red bandana around his neck. He is approximately 6 feet tall, slender and in his 20s.

The second suspect was approximately 6 feet tall and was wearing a black hooded pullover.According to the report, officers seized the bag of chips as evidence.
