| Grocery store bandits sought |

Local investigators are seeking information into a grocery store robbery that took place on Thursday.
An incident report cites Martin Police were dispatched to Save-A-Lot grocery store on the Skyhawk Parkway for a report of money taken out of a cash register at the store.
Near closing time on Thursday evening, two black males reportedly entered Save-A-Lot shortly before 8 p.m. One of the suspects asked an employee where the bathroom was while the other suspect grabbed a bag of chips for purchase.
The employee told officers that as he was ringing up the bag of chips, the suspect allegedly reached across the register belt and took a handful of money from the register.
The total amount of money taken was $312.
Both men left the scene on foot toward the Winstead Storage Units beside the grocery store. The first suspect is described as wearing all black with a red bandana around his neck. He is approximately 6 feet tall, slender and in his 20s.
The second suspect was approximately 6 feet tall and was wearing a black hooded pullover.According to the report, officers seized the bag of chips as evidence.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the MPD at 587-5355 or Crime Stoppers at 587-2611.
Tips will remain anonymous and Crime Stoppers offers an award for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect.
