Nursing home plans events

Obion County Nursing Home has announced the following activities for April 5-11 at the nursing home.

Sunday: At 10 a.m., Troy First Baptist Church will visit and hold services. A Sunday tea will be held at 2 p.m. At 3:30, Sudoku will be offered.

Monday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. At 10:30, jigsaw puzzles will be worked. A movie will be held at 1:30 p.m., with refreshments of popcorn being served. A game of Wii bowling will be offered at 3:30.

Tuesday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. At 10:30, a devotional will be held. A resident council meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. At 2:30, a Bible study will be held.

Wednesday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. At 10:30, a game of checkers will be played. Bingo will be offered at 1:30 p.m. At 3:30, a game of trivia will be played.

Thursday: The beauty shop will be open 8-11 a.m. At 9:30, Wii tennis will be played. Manicures will be given at 2:30. Crossword puzzles will be worked at 3:30.

Friday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. At 10:30, a bead class will be offered. Bingo will be played at 2 p.m. A music class will be offered at 3:30.

Saturday: First Assembly of God members will visit and hold services at 10 a.m. At 1:30 p.m., a movie will be shown, with refreshments being served. Board games will be played at 3.
