Nursing home plans events

Obion County Nursing Home has announced the following activities for April 12-18 at the nursing home.

Sunday: Troy First Baptist Church will visit and hold services at 10:30 a.m. An Easter tea will be held at 2 p.m.

Monday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. At 10, jigsaw puzzles will be offered. Music class will be held at 2 p.m. At 3, the residents will be offered word search puzzles.

Tuesday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. At 10:30, Sanders Chapel United Methodist Church will visit and hold services. A pizza party will be held at 2 p.m. At 3, games of bean bag toss will be played.

Wednesday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. At 10:30, checkers will be played. Bingo will be played at 1:30 p.m. At 3, a Bible study will be held.

Thursday: The beauty shop will be open 8-11 a.m. A country lunch will be served at noon. At 2, manicures will be given. An exercise class will be held at 3.

Friday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. A book study of “Traveling Light” will be held at 10. Bingo will be played at 1:30 p.m. At 2:30, a game of Wii sports will be played.

Saturday: First Assembly of God will visit and hold services at 10 a.m. At 1:30 p.m., a Saturday matinee will be shown to the residents. A devotional will be held at 3.
