| Sen. Corker plans Tuesday visit to Dresden |

U.S. Senator Bob Corker, R-Tenn., will address McWherter Scholars at a dinner in Dresden on Tuesday, April 14.
Corker will describe a typical day in the Senate and provide students with an update on current events in politics and government.
During the Senate’s April recess, Corker is touring the state to hear from citizens, local officials and community leaders about how the nation’s economic challenges are affecting them and to update them on his work in Washington to address these issues.
The Ned McWherter Scholars Program awards scholarships to talented Tenn-essee high school graduates who choose to attend colleges or universities in Tennessee.
Corker will appear at 6:30 p.m. next Tuesday at Richie & Reggie's BBQ in Dresden for the McWherter Scholars' Dinner honoring local students.
