Veteran tight end Alge Crumpler will lead Titans Caravan XII into Martin
Veteran tight end Alge Crumpler will lead Titans Caravan XII into Martin | Titans Caravan XII, Martin, Tennessee, Tennessee Titans, NFL, Alge Crumpler, football, autographs

Coming your way — Veteran Tennessee Titans tight end Alge Crumpler will be on hand to sign autographs when Titans Caravan XII makes a stop in Martin on Monday afternoon.
NASHVILLE – Four-time Pro Bowl tight end Alge Crumpler will lead Titans Caravan XII into Martin on Monday, the sixth day of the team’s annual tour throughout Tennessee, Kentucky and Alabama. Crumpler will also appear in Cunningham, Ky., Cadiz, Ky., Paris and Paducah, Ky., as the caravan makes its way into portions of West Tennessee and Western Kentucky.

Joining Crumpler when the tour makes its stop at 3 on Monday afternoon in Festival Park in downtown Martin will be six-time Pro Bowl mascot T-Rac and the “Voice of the Titans” Mike Keith.

Fans will have an opportunity to get autographs from Crumpler, T-Rac and Keith at all of the public stops. Each public stop is free and will last approximately one hour.

Crumpler is entering his ninth NFL season in 2009. He snared 24 receptions for 257 yards and a touchdown in 2008, his first season in Tennessee after spending seven seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. His career statistics include 340 receptions for 4,469 yards and 36 touchdowns in 123 games. The 6- 2, 262-pounder ranks first in average yards per reception (minimum 200 catches) among all active NFL tight ends.  Crumpler originally was drafted by the Falcons in the second round (35th overall) of the 2001 NFL Draft.

Titans Caravan XII will make 44 stops over a span nine travel days. In addition to using the Caravan as a way to thank Titans fans throughout the Mid-South, this year’s caravan will celebrate the organization’s 50th season in professional football.

To obtain a complete schedule and follow Titans Caravan XII, fans can go to the team’s official Web site, TitansOnline.com.
