UC council to meet

Union City’s city council will meet Tuesday in the Municipal Building courtroom at 5:30 p.m. Items on the agenda for that session include: an ordinance amending the animal control ordinance; a report and recommendation on bids to demolish structures at 231 East Palmer St.; an update on storm debris clean up; a request from Tennessee Department of Transportation regarding the acquisition of city-owned property for the I-69 right of way; and the quarterly financial report.
Public meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
The meetings are open to the public.
