SCV meeting set

The Sons of Confederate Veterans will meet Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Obion County Museum community room. The guest speaker will be Dr. Charles Blair, who will present a program on “The Copperheads.” A spokesman noted that this will not be a discussion of reptiles.
Announcements about awards that will be presented at the annual SCV reunion will be made, including the Union City camp’s “Camp of the Year” award.
All members are urged to attend and visitors will be welcome, the spokesman added.
