Nursing home plans events

Obion County Nursing Home has announced the following activities for April 26-May 2 at the nursing home.

Sunday: TV oldies will be shown at 9:30 a.m. At 10:30, Troy First Baptist Church will visit and hold services. A Sunday tea will be held at 2 p.m. At 3:30, a devotional will be held.

Monday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. At 10, jigsaw puzzles will be offered to the residents. A movie will be shown at 2 p.m., with popcorn served as the refreshments. At 3:30, games of word search will be offered to the residents.

Tuesday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. At 10, games of Wii golf will be played by the residents. The Gentleman’s Club will meet at 2 p.m. A Guidepost reading will be held with the residents at 3:30.

Wednesday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. At 10:30, a game of Sudoku  will be played with the residents. Bingo will be played with the residents at 1:30 p.m. At 3, an April birthday social will be held.

Thursday: The beauty shop will be open 8-11:30 a.m. At 2 p.m. manicures will be given to the residents. An exercise class will be held at 3.

Friday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. A book study will begin at 10. Bingo will be played with the residents at 2 p.m. At 3, a game of Wii bowling will be played with the residents.

Saturday: TV oldies will be shown to the residents at 9 a.m. At 10, First Assembly of God will visit and hold services. A Saturday matinee will be shown to the residents at 1:30. At 3, refreshments will be served to the residents.
