We Care Ministries needs told

We Care Thrift Store is opened to the public on: Wednesday 1-3:30 p.m., Saturday 9:30 a.m.-noon; and second Monday of every month from 5-7 p.m.

Spring and summer clothes are out

Food Bank (Because of the increase in Food Bank assistance, the following items are desperately needed): Canned fruit, juice, soup, snack items, Jell-O, canned vegetables (potatoes, carrots, beans and peas), Sloppy Joe sauce, Jack mackerel, potted meat and Vienna sausages.

Christian Devotional Literature: “Our Daily Bread,  “Upper Room,” etc.

Thrift Store: Good mattress and box spring sets, manual and electric can openers, electric toasters, crock pots, good bath and kitchen towels; full-, queen- and king-size bedding; good pots and pans; clear packing tape, Windex, pictures; blue, red, yellow, purple and green poster board; knick knacks and sets of dishes.

Furniture Store: Refrigerators, stoves, washing machines and dryers, beds, clean couches and chairs, good furniture, working television sets, stereo sets, computers and microwaves. Please NO built-in appliances.

Clothing Store: Maternity clothes; men and women plus size, men’s shoes, men’s 1X-4X clothes, men’s jeans and children’s summer clothes.

Office and Store: Copier paper, wide masking tape, metal storage cabinets and bookshelves.

Miscellaneous: Large dry erase board and orange safety cones.

Mobile Food Pantry will be available at 10 a.m., April 23. For more information call We Care.

Classes: The Martin Housing Authority Stuart Center will offer classes on Learn About Computers, Exploring Careers, Typing Skills and Help With GED. For more information, contact Robert Nunley at 587-3186, ext. 240, or We Care Ministries at 587-6257.

We Care Ministries appreciates the continued support by the public, through donations of clothing and household items and through financial donations. Those donations make a difference in the lives of others.

Donation Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; 7:30 a.m. - noon Saturdays.

Hours of Assistance: 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
