Nursing home plans events

Obion County Nursing Home has announced the following activities for April 3-9 at the nursing home.
Sunday: At 9:30 a.m. TV oldies will be shown. At 10:30, Troy First Baptist Church will visit and hold services. A Sunday tea will be held at 2 p.m.
Monday: At 9:30 a.m., a coffee break will be held. Jigsaw puzzles will be offered to the residents at 10. At 2 p.m., a bead class will be held. A devotional will be held at 3.
Tuesday: At 9:30 a.m., a coffee break will be held. Word scramble will be offered at 10:30. At 2 p.m., a resident council meeting will be held. Old sayings trivia will be held at 3.
Wednesday: At 9:30 a.m., a coffee break will be held. The residents will play Wii baseball at 10:30. At 2 p.m., a game of Bingo will be played with the residents. Bean bag toss will be played at 3.
Thursday: The beauty shop will be open 8-11 a.m. Manicures will be given to the residents at 2 p.m. A Gaither gospel DVD will be shown at 3.
Friday: At 9:30 a.m., a coffee break will be held. A book study will be held with the residents at 10:30. At 2 p.m. a game of Bingo will be played with the residents. A game of Wii bowling will be played with the residents at 3.
Saturday: First Assembly of God will visit and hold services at 10 a.m. Refreshments will be served to the residents at 1:30 p.m. At 2, a Saturday matinee will be shown to the residents.
