A pair of golfers needed just one stroke to finish a hole in recent action at Persimmon Hills Golf Course in Sharon.
Martin resident Keith Cursey finished his round strong by ripping a hole-in-one during play on May 9. Cursey used a wedge on the par-3, 125-yard No. 18 hole. His shot was witnessed by Dusty Gibson, Scott McDonald, Chris Olds, Trent Arnold and Jack Wells.
On May 15, it was Sharon resident Monroe Ary clubbing a hole-in-one. Ary pulled a 3-wood out of his bag to cover the 111-yard distance on the par-3 No. 15 hole. Ary's memorable shot was witnessed by Tim Ary. |
