Brandi S. Alexander, daughter of Donna Holder of Union City and Rodney Alexander of Dyersburg, recently graduated with a degree of medicine, health and society from the College of Arts and Sciences at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
She will start classes June 29 at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale as a student in the medical prep program at SUI’s medical school.
Ms. Alexander is a 2005 graduate of Union City High School.

Several students from Obion County have been named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
The honorees include Saman-tha Hicks of South Fulton; Caroline Kirkland, Adam Moon, William Reese, Lindsay Smith and Elizabeth Storey, all of Union City.
