SCV meeting set

The Sons of Confederate Veterans local camp 176 will meet Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Obion County Museum community room on Edwards Street in Union City.
All members are urged to attend and visitors will be welcome, the spokesman added.
The SCV serves as an historical, patriotic and no-political organization dedicated to ensuring that a true history of the 1861-65 period is preserved. Membership is open to all male descendants of any veteran who served honorably in the Confederate armed forces.
The SCV currently has 30,183 members worldwide.
