Obion meet slated

Obion mayor and councilmen will meet this evening at 5 p.m. at City Hall for a called meeting featuring a second reading of the 2010 budget and a first reading of new gas rates, new water and sewer rates and new sanitation rates. The council will also set the 2009 property and advalorem tax rate, amend the 2009 budget and set the 2009-10 employee pay scale.
The meeting will be open to the public.
