Bethel seeking artists for mascot redesign

In anticipation of Bethel College’s name change to Bethel University, planning is underway to enhance the school’s corporate brand in order to convey the school’s new status.
Included among these enhancements is an updated look for the Bethel mascot, the wildcat.
Artists from throughout the state are urged to try their hand at a new design.
The work must be original, reproduceable, and must be submitted in digital format by Aug. 1, 2009.
The winner, as determined by the Selection Committee, will receive $500. Bethel College will retain all rights to the exclusive use of the chosen image.
