UC council to meet

Union City’s city council will meet Tuesday in the Municipal Building courtroom at 5:30 p.m. to consider an agenda including amending the Appropriations Ordinance for fiscal year 2008-09; establishing fees and penalties for false emergency alarms; approving the contract with Barker Bros. Waste Inc. for refuse collection and disposal; receiving a report and recommendation on bids for asphalt paving and a report and results of the recent ISO Public Protection Summary; and receiving minutes of the June Planning Commission meeting. The meeting is open to the public.
Public meetings are regularly held the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
