4-H to host public speaking contests
The Obion County 4-H program will once again host the annual 4-H Public Speaking Contest during the months of November and December. Participation in this contest will allow youth to gain several skills including, but not limited to, communication, organization and leadership. Any student in grades 4-8 may participate. The top speakers from each class will be invited to the Obion County Public Speaking contest, which will be held at Ridgemont Elementary on Dec. 11. The county contest is also open to all students in grades 4-12.
