Right to Life meeting set

Our local Obion County Chapter of the Tennessee Right to Life will meet at 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 28 at the Obion County Museum, 1004 Edwards Street, Union City. Donn Janes will be the guest speaker.. He is running for the office of U. S. House of Representative in Tennessee’s Eighth District. Please tell everyone you know to come hear what he has to say about the current issues and also to ask questions. He is Pro-Life.
The chapter’s “Cemetery of Innocence” will be moved at 8 a.m., Saturday, July 25 from it’s present location at Greater Hope Baptist Church on Miles Avenue to Faithway Baptist in Troy. If you can help with this, come by. The chapter will also have a booth at the fair this year and need your help in staffing the slots for the week. The evenings are split into two hour shifts from about 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Membership renewals are due or if you are interested in becoming a member, the annual fee is $25, of which $10 goes to the state office for membership there also. Please send contact information and fee to P. O. Box 55, Union City, TN 38281. You can also visit the website at www.tnrtl.org.  
Also, the “Choose Life” license plates are still available at the local Court House.
