Bethel bound — Recent Westview High School graduate Andrew Fisher has signed on to continue his baseball career at Bethel University in McKenzie. During the 2009 Charger season, Fisher played first base and was named to the All-District 13-AA team. He was also named the Chargers' Defensive MVP at the team's postseason awards banquet. On hand for the signing were (front, from left) his mother Stacye Fisher, Andrew Fisher, his father James Fisher, and (back) Bethel head baseball coach Rusty Thompson. Fisher will begin his work with the Wildcats in the fall. |
