Breaking: Serial rapist sketch released | serial rapist, Martin, TBI, Martin Police Department, Cordova, Memphis

Have you seen this man?
Law enforcement officials continue to search for a suspect possibly connected to four sexual assaults in two West Tennessee counties.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation released a detailed sketch of the suspect Thursday morning who is possibly connected to attacks on local women at gunpoint.
The first reported incident involved a Cordova woman who was sexually assaulted by a man at gunpoint at her apartment complex June 27.
Approximately one month later, on July 24, a victim in Martin told Martin Police officers she had come home to her apartment on Bo Drive to find a man wearing a mask and brandishing a black handgun in her living room.
According to a release issued by the department, the suspect bound the victim’s hands and feet and forced her to lie on the bed. It was later learned the victim was sexually assaulted and items were stolen from her apartment.
TBI and MPD investigators are not ruling out a possible connection to two attacks that occurred on Aug. 5. According to the Thursday morning press release, the Memphis Police Department reported a woman was sexually assaulted by a man who broke into her apartment on Macon Road near Whitten that day.
Later that evening, a victim on Harrison Road in Martin was confronted in her apartment by a white man wearing a mask and brandishing a black handgun. The suspect forced the victim into a bedroom and sexually assaulted her, according to the release.
As details about the suspect emerge, the TBI now says they have a witness description of the wanted rapist.
He is described as a white, heavy-set man with thinning hair. Other reports note the suspect is approximately six feet tall weighing 250 pounds, with a large stomach.
Authorities are encouraging other victims and witnesses to come forward.
If anyone can identify the suspect or has any information about the crimes, contact the MPD at 587-5355, the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND or Crimestoppers at 1-877-364-8479 (TIPZ).
