THE ‘GREEN’ TEAM – Frontier General Manager David Sudberry (from left) dropped off more than 5,000 pounds of copper wiring and electronics from the local telephone company for recycle at UTM Recycles last week. UTM Recycles employees Joshua Jones, Callie Wagner, Jennifer Opiela and “guard” puppy Tinker, Brittany Hobock and UT Martin rep Joe Tucker said the center has been working with several local businesses in an effort to “go green.” Sudberry said the contribution is a preliminary kickoff to a “Greenwise” initiative beginning Sept. 1 that will also include E.W. James and Sons. WCP 8.20.09 |
