Church history series set
Grace Community Church recently began a church history series as part of its Wednesday night Bible study.
The study focuses on the theological development of church doctrine and the social impact of Christianity from the time of Jesus until now.
The study incorporates Bruce Shelley’s book, “Church History in Plain Language,” A&E’s video series “Christianity — The First 2000 Years” and discussion sessions for an in-depth view of the subject.
Study begins at 6:30 p.m., with Bible classes for children at the same time.
Grace Community Church meets at 1215 South Home St. in Union City, just west of Walgreens.
For more information, call the pastor, the Rev. Billy McGarity at 885-8201.
